The 2023 winners of the most prestigious photography awards of the Turkish media were announced
In the “Press Photos of the Year 2023” competition organized by the Photojournalists Association of Türkiye (TFMD) for the 38th time this year, Murat Şaka from Hürriyet Newspaper won the Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants (ASAM) Special Award with his photograph depicting those who had to flee their country due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
