Beyond Borders: 18 December International Migrants Day

Some journeys are born out of necessity. Yet when people look at their own lives, they realize how even journeys that are not necessary can create hesitation. Even when we move to a new neighborhood, we feel a slight sense of uncertainty within us. But what if behind that journey lies a war, a danger, a feeling of desperation? Then, that journey is not made out of choice, but out of necessity. And most of the time, people leave behind not just their belongings, but the traces of an entire lifetime.
