Coming together in the unifying and inclusive atmosphere of sports, the women enjoyed a pleasant match while sharing a message of solidarity and equality from the stands. Throughout the match, our beneficiaries supported their teams with great excitement and once again experienced the power of sports that bring together different segments of society.
After the match, our women beneficiaries met with the TED Ankara Kolejliler volleyball team players, had the opportunity to speak with them, and took photos to mark this special day. This was a meaningful moment that highlighted the importance of women’s visibility and solidarity in sports.
When Women are Empowered, Society is Empowered
An orange banner reading “When Women are Empowered, the Whole Society is Empowered” was unfurled in the stands, strongly reflecting the message of March 8. Together, the women expressed their call for equality, solidarity, and empowerment from the stands.
As ASAM, we will continue to carry out activities that support women’s active participation in social life and contribute to their empowerment, and we will continue to strengthen solidarity in this field.
