With the Project launched in Adıyaman, it is aimed to safeguard public health and to elevate the quality of life of the earthquake survivors through the services provided in areas such as immunization, early diagnosis, healthy nutrition, hygiene, and reproductive health. Mobile teams operating under the guidance and coordination of Adıyaman Provincial Directorate of Health are instrumental in contributing to health screening initiatives for women in remote locations.

Focusing on “Women’s and Reproductive Health”, the Project provides preventive health services, and primary diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care. In this context, it is aimed to improve the access of earthquake-affected women to reproductive health services with the help of obstetricians, midwives, nurses, health educators and interpreters stationed in a Health Container Clinic and a Mobile Health Clinic.

In the Project, where interventions such as medical examinations and emergency obstetric care related to adolescent and women’s reproductive health are implemented, awareness-raising activities on reproductive health issues are organized for women and girls. Moreover, hygiene, reproductive health and mother-infant kits are distributed to earthquake survivors in need.
