Capacity Building

In order to generate durable and effective solutions for the problems encountered by asylum seekers, it has become necessary to build the capacity of institutions that operate in the field of migration management, such as local administrations, non-governmental organizations, central administrations and international organizations. Based on our long-term knowledge and experience acquired as ASAM by working directly with asylum seekers and all concerning stakeholders in the field, we conduct capacity-building activities in regards to certain themes, such as legislation on migration, protection, education, health, gender, livelihoods and social cohesion. Apart from thematic areas, we also share our experience to build the operational and administrative capacities of the institutions with which we work in collaboration.
