Protection

The phenomenon of migration brings along many difficulties and vulnerabilities. Protection interventions, developed to mitigate and eliminate the vulnerabilities of asylum seekers with specific needs, mainly children, women, persons with disabilities and the elderly, is at the center of ASAM’s works. As ASAM, we conduct works in collaboration with relevant institutions to prevent gender-based violence, strengthen the access of persons with specific needs to available social services and protection mechanisms, form safe spaces for women and children at risk, and to provide psychosocial support to these persons.
