Rayan, who came from Aleppo to Türkiye with her family at the age of 7 to get away from the destruction caused by the war, is now constructing her life with hope. Rayan, who is currently a high school student, is spending most of her time on studying so that she can attain her dreams.

Türkiye’s largest non-governmental organization, ASAM, has been restructured. Amending its name to Association for Social Development and Aid Mobilization, ASAM adopts a more inclusive and holistic approach and stands “in solidarity with all those in need of a helping hand!”
In recognition of their search and rescue operations and humanitarian aid efforts in Hatay, the ASAM Canine Search and Rescue Team was awarded the “State Medal and Order of Supreme Sacrifice of the Republic of Türkiye” by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
