Strengthening the Resilience of the Earthquake Survivors and Supporting Their Wellbeing Project

The "Strengthening the Resilience of the Earthquake Survivors and Supporting Their Wellbeing Project," carried out with the support and collaboration of OXFAM-KEDV (Foundation for the Support of Women's Work), seeks to develop and implement measures against the risks faced by earthquake survivors in the area of protection. By mitigating existing risks, the Project aims to improve the mental well-being of survivors through awareness-raising activities.

As part of the Project, protection services are extended through outreach teams in the provinces of Hatay and Kahramanmaraş, in addition to psychosocial support and awareness-raising sessions being conducted within container cities.

Within the scope Project’s scope, individuals in need of protection are identified through field visits, psychosocial support activities, information-sharing sessions, and individual counseling. Additionally, the Project involves referring individuals to relevant institutions and offering financial support when necessary as part of the protection and case management processes.
