With the Syrian Support Workers (SSW) Programme implemented in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), it is aimed to enable the access of asylum seekers living in Türkiye to available social service mechanisms and opportunities through employment.

Awareness Raising on MHPSS for the Refugees Living in Türkiye Project

The “Awareness Raising on Mental Health Psycho-Social Support for the Refugees Living in Türkiye”, implemented with the financial support of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to generate and spread content with regards to mental health and psychosocial support to come up with solutions for the challenges experienced by refugees and primary health care providing institutions in terms of MHPSS.

Social Cohesion and Life Trainings Programme

The Social Cohesion and Life Trainings Programme has been designed to facilitate the cohesion of foreigners under temporary protection and international protection to social, economic and cultural life in our country in scope of the Cooperation Protocol signed between the Directorate General of Migration Management and Directorate General of Life Long Learning as per Law no. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection, and has started being implemented in 2019 in the pilot provinces of Istanbul, Ordu and Karabük. Within the Social Cohesion and Life Trainings Programme, 8-hour trainings are provided at beginner level under the headings of Türkiye’s cultural structure, communal living rules, access to means of livelihood, and fundamental rights and services.

Support for School Enrolment Programme

The “Support for School Enrolment Programme”, run with the financial support of the European Union and collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), contributes to raising schooling rates of Syrian children and improving their access to formal and non-formal education opportunities.

Al Farah Child and Family Support Centers for Refugee Children Project

With the “Al Farah Child and Family Support Centers for Refugee Children Project”, which was launched in 2016 with the collaboration of the United Nations Children’s Fund, protection services are offered to asylum seeker children, adolescents and their families, and child friendly activities are carried out by making the necessary referrals for children to develop most efficiently.

Refugee Protection, Community Outreach and Solutions in Urban Areas Project

With the “Refugee Protection, Community Outreach and Solutions in Urban Areas Project”, run with the collaboration of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), it is aimed to enable asylum seekers and refugees to gain access to complementary protection services offered by public institutions and organizations by assisting them in accessing rights and services.
