To increase its efficiency in the international sphere, ASAM, which conducts its activities with the goal of supporting the holistic development of children, joined the International Step by Step Association ISSA, which is a learning together platform and which aims to empower each child to reach their unique potential.
23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day was celebrated with great joy
in all ASAM offices. The traditional ASAM Children’s Festivals took place with
the attendance of 3,500 children in Ankara, and with the attendance of 2,000
children in Hatay.
ASAM Women’s Gathering brought together hundreds of women earthquake survivors from the earthquake-affected regions at Gaziantep – Rumkale.
The closing meeting of the Grants Program for Ukrainian Associations, implemented with the collaboration of UNICEF and ASAM and the contributions of the Government of Japan, took place in Ankara.

Türkiye is among the first childhood memories of Kader, who came from Aleppo to Türkiye with her family 10 years ago. Kader, who is 14 years old right now, feels happy and safe for being in Türkiye. She describes her fondness by expressing, “Ankara is such a beautiful city…”
Rayan, who came from Aleppo to Türkiye with her family at the age of 7 to get away from the destruction caused by the war, is now constructing her life with hope. Rayan, who is currently a high school student, is spending most of her time on studying so that she can attain her dreams.
